About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day corrosion control and cathodic protection program for site pipelines to meet regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine monitoring and testing of CP assets and collaborate with CP Technologists to develop repair plans.
- Manage vendors to ensure high-quality performance of CP work.
- Act as the CP/coatings focal point and representative for new projects.
- Maintain and monitor the CP database and communicate asset status, such as rectifier readings.
- Develop work scopes and cost estimates for CP-related expenses.
- Create and track work notifications in SAP for equipment repairs.
- Train and mentor newer technicians.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in cathodic protection or corrosion control.
- NACE CP Level I certification.
- Valid TWIC card or eligibility to obtain one.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Ability to work legally in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and wearing safety equipment/respirators.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior cathodic protection experience.
- NACE CP Level II certification.
- Prior knowledge of PCS software systems.
