Senior Catastrophe Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead analyst for Non-natural catastrophe reporting across key classes of business
• Manage all aspects of portfolios for exposure management and catastrophe analytics purposes
• Analyze monthly variances and ensure high standards of data governance within Arch portfolios
• Prepare data for key stakeholders, including Group reporting and outwards reinsurance purchasing
• Provide internal and external reporting and support during Event Response
• Complete ad hoc requests from underwriters to assist with pricing and risk monitoring
• Support Catastrophe Managers and the Head of Department with specialized requests

Requirements

• Expertise in Non-natural catastrophe reporting
• Proven experience in exposure management and catastrophe analytics
• Strong data governance and analytical skills
• Ability to prepare complex data for stakeholder reporting and reinsurance purchasing
• Experience working within a specialty insurance or reinsurance environment
