Senior Cash Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, organization, and updating of complex financial statements, journals, and ledgers within automated financial systems.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Monitor automated financial systems and develop documented controls to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
• Perform complex accounting reconciliations, journal entries, and auditing schedules.
• Develop and manage complex work unit budgets, including analyzing funding sources and budget trends.
• Forecast budget balances and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Provide financial guidance, training, and accounting information to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
