Senior Care Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high-quality community care and provide personal care with dignity and respect
• Complete initial risk and needs assessments and conduct regular reviews for individual service users
• Provide practical supervision, instruction, and support to Care Assistants
• Shadow new care workers to ensure competence and evaluate practice through routine supervision
• Work with Care Coordinators to plan effective and realistic care worker rotas
• Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews of service users' needs
• Complete essential administrative tasks linked to care delivery and service quality

Requirements

• Experience carrying out risk and needs assessments in home or residential settings
• Experience in person-centred care planning and supporting high-quality care delivery
• Proven ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with families, carers, and healthcare professionals
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
