Senior Cardiac Physiologist

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the Non-Invasive and Invasive Cardiology Department
• Perform 12 lead ECGs, fit and analyse ambulatory monitors, and conduct technician-led exercise treadmill tests
• Support stress echo services and Pharmacological MIBI
• Oversee the ambulatory ECG service
• Engage in cardiac catheterisation services, including left and right heart catheterisation, brady pacing, and Loop record (Reveal) implant and follow-up
• Work towards independence in angiogram, brady-pacing implantation and follow-up, and reveal device clinic
• Manage complex device implantation and follow-up (CRT, ICD)

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and experience in cardiology
• IBHRE or BHRS accreditation (essential)
• Proven experience in performing 12 lead ECGs, ambulatory monitors, and technician-led exercise treadmill tests
• Experience in complex devices, ICD, and CRT

Preferred Qualifications

• BHRS accreditation for complex device management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
