About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of the Non-Invasive and Invasive Cardiology Department
- Perform 12 lead ECGs, fit and analyse ambulatory monitors, and conduct technician-led exercise treadmill tests
- Support stress echo services and Pharmacological MIBI
- Oversee the ambulatory ECG service
- Engage in cardiac catheterisation services, including left and right heart catheterisation, brady pacing, and Loop record (Reveal) implant and follow-up
- Work towards independence in angiogram, brady-pacing implantation and follow-up, and reveal device clinic
- Manage complex device implantation and follow-up (CRT, ICD)
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in cardiology
- IBHRE or BHRS accreditation (essential)
- Proven experience in performing 12 lead ECGs, ambulatory monitors, and technician-led exercise treadmill tests
- Experience in complex devices, ICD, and CRT
Preferred Qualifications
- BHRS accreditation for complex device management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
