Senior Capital Projects Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support equipment proposal and drawing review, system installation, and qualification testing (FAT/SAT)
• Manage commissioning, startup, and documentation for new and existing powder production equipment
• Provide hands-on mechanical support for assembly, operation, and maintenance
• Develop equipment maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance protocols
• Perform root cause analysis for equipment-related issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain end-to-end life cycle documentation and as-built P&IDs
• Support Process Hazard Analysis and implement safety procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of industry experience in a materials production environment
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting production equipment
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with engineers, scientists, and operations personnel
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with installation, commissioning, and developing SOPs in a commercial powder production environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Familiarity with electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings
