Senior Capital Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of capital projects from programming through closeout
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, specifications, and documentation
• Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including consultants and contractors
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and design specifications
• Identify and resolve project challenges such as resource conflicts, delays, and budget variances
• Support the development of capital governance, best practices, and portfolio management systems
• Prepare reports and presentations for management and executives regarding project health and performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects
• Proven experience managing projects from conception through completion
• Experience managing multiple concurrent capital projects with varying complexity
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as PMP, PE, CCM, or LEED AP
• Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $50 million
• Experience managing capital programs or portfolios
• Experience in capital strategic and budget planning
