Senior CAPEX Project Controller

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report project progress regarding schedule, resources, and costs
• Create regular cash forecasts and ensure financial compliance with company standards
• Proactively identify and report deviations following established escalation levels
• Identify cost-saving potentials and support departments in their implementation
• Oversee the approval process for project budgets and purchase requisitions
• Act as the primary contact for all financial topics and manage the change-management process
• Coordinate and support payments to suppliers
• Actively participate in the optimization of project management processes and tools

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Advanced training in Finance or Controlling
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project controlling, preferably with large-scale projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with very strong Excel skills
• Experience working with SAP and BI systems
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a hands-on mentality
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner within a team
