Senior Campus Assistant, Pre-College Programs

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day academic operations and student experience for Pre-College programs
• Lead Campus Assistants on front-office procedures and Academic Support Kiosk workflows
• Act as primary contact for instructional support, classroom issues, and facilities concerns
• Coordinate with facilities and instructional support teams for classroom readiness
• Manage social media content calendars and curate student experience content
• Coordinate field trip operations including scheduling, transportation, and chaperone duties
• Oversee supply inventory, financial documentation, and print requests
• Support event logistics including setup, execution, and breakdown for academic events

Requirements

• High School diploma or High School equivalency diploma
• One semester of experience with Columbia University’s Pre-College Programs
• Ability to undergo and pass a mandatory background check
• Availability to work scheduled shifts (e.g., 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
• Ability to engage in considerable physical activity around campus and NYC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in an educational or recreational setting
• Strong leadership skills to guide teams toward organizational goals
