Senior Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate measuring and test instruments for conformance to Standard Operating Procedures
• Set up test equipment and measure accuracy of instruments for voltage, current, heat, flow, and pressure
• Adjust and repair instruments to meet calibration standards
• Coordinate instrument re-certification with outside standards laboratories
• Maintain calibration scheduling database and required documentation
• Serve as a technical resource for calibration issues and out-of-tolerance investigations
• Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours and weekend support

Requirements

• High school diploma required (Associates Degree preferred)
• 5+ years of calibration experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Working knowledge of 21CFR and cGMP regulations
• Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate initiative in problem resolution
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 55 pounds
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirators
• Ability to qualify for Grade B gowning
