Senior CALEA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain CALEA-compliant lawful intercept solutions across 5G network functions
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot networks using mediation devices or lawful intercept collection software
• Develop and maintain documentation regarding CALEA compliance, system architecture, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with Technology Development, Legal, and Information Security teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee change management and perform MOP and test case reviews to minimize network impact
• Interface with law enforcement agencies and third-party vendors to validate LI solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers and cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in telecom engineering
• 3+ years of experience focused on 4G/5G lawful intercept or CALEA implementation
• In-depth understanding of 5G Core (5GC) architecture and 3GPP/ETSI standards
• Hands-on experience with Network Function Virtualization (NFV) in AWS and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with scripting or automation tools such as Python or Bash
• Ability to obtain or maintain a Secret-level security clearance
