Senior CAD Designer

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean CAD architecture with logical assemblies and configurations
• Create detailed 2D drawings for complex mechanisms including gears, bearings, and avionics boxes
• Perform part tolerance and stack-up analysis using fit classes
• Design for fabrication to minimize vendor time and reduce costs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience as a drafter in aerospace or automotive fields
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks including complex assemblies and PDM configuration management
• Mastery of ASME Y14 and GD&T standards
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating drawings for flight certification programs (FAA or MIL)
• Specialization in gearbox design and precision parts
