Senior C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a robust, performance-critical data pipeline for cloud-vehicle interaction
• Lead the design and development of in-vehicle software components for monitoring, dispatch, and control
• Drive technical requirements by partnering with product managers, cloud engineers, and operations teams
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high quality standards
• Collaborate with test engineering and operations to define validation strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in modern C++ (11/14/17) on Linux platforms
• Proven track record in designing multi-threaded, asynchronous systems
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OS primitives
• Experience taking complex features from concept to production
• Experience interfacing applications with cloud-native services like AWS IoT Core or Azure IoT

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems middleware such as DDS or gRPC
• Knowledge of IoT protocols including MQTT and Protobuf
• Hands-on experience with ARM-based embedded systems and cross-compilation toolchains
• Proficiency in Python or Golang for tooling and scripting
• Experience leading technical projects in globally distributed teams
