Senior C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize a global derivatives algorithmic trading platform using C++
• Write software to communicate with exchanges via APIs using protocols such as FIX, WebSocket, or HTTP
• Implement trading algorithms based on requirements from traders and quants
• Optimize exchange communication through kernel bypass and connection handling improvements
• Ensure software quality through the maintenance and extension of testing suites
• Investigate and resolve production issues, including performance bottlenecks and unexpected logic behavior
• Enhance system monitoring and observability in collaboration with Trading Operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience within the financial industry
• 8+ years of experience in Trading & Capital Markets or Investment Banking
• Deep understanding of parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming
• Knowledge of major global futures exchanges and their native protocols
• Understanding of the full exchange-traded derivatives trade lifecycle
• Proficiency in scripting or other languages such as Python, PowerShell, C#, or SQL
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rust or TypeScript
• Experience with kernel bypass and TLS optimization
• Proven track record in application deployment best practices
