About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluation, and purchase order issuance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define specifications and ensure accurate procurement requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Support contract preparation, tracking, and management in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports on supplier performance and procurement trends.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior procurement staff to promote operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial evaluation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of procurement processes and purchasing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using procurement systems or ERP tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CIPS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in real estate, facilities management (FM), or service-based procurement environments.
  • Knowledge of UAE procurement practices and local supplier markets.
