Senior Buyer

Responsibilities

• Manage long lead time items and MRP settings in the ERP system to ensure smooth supply chain flow and optimal inventory levels
• Execute daily tactical ordering, including purchase order generation, confirmations, and call-offs to prevent production disruptions
• Lead supplier selection processes, including pricing analysis, negotiations, and technical ability assessments
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and maintain accurate data regarding contacts, pricing, and compliance
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure continuity of operations
• Drive assigned projects to completion, including managing supplier and component transfers
• Improve purchasing and planning processes through digitalization and the reduction of non-value-added tasks

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement
• Proven experience working with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver results
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
