Senior Buyer

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive Camping strategy to drive growth in sales, brands, suppliers, and new product listings
• Source and prioritize new brands and suppliers in line with market trends and consumer demand
• Deliver against key financial and service level performance indicators including sales, margin, and stock cover
• Manage and develop supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and improve trading terms
• Develop promotional programmes and manage site merchandising for the department
• Support operations in delivering customer experience by monitoring returns and resolving product queries
• Manage stock availability and replenishment orders

Requirements

• 5 years of related retail buying, commerce, or e-commerce experience
• Specific experience in Camping or outdoor products
• National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (Business Science or Commerce preferred)
• If no degree is held, at least 8 years of related retail/e-commerce experience is required
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
• Existing industry networks are a significant plus
