Senior Buyer

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for goods, services, and subcontracts in compliance with corporate standards.
• Independently issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) based on approved purchasing requisitions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, providing technical and commercial guidance while maintaining strict bid confidentiality.
• Prepare comprehensive commercial and economic bid tabulations to compare proposals and recommend strategic actions.
• Lead economic and commercial negotiations to ensure optimal value and terms for the company.
• Draft purchase orders and subcontracts based on General Purchase Terms and Conditions (GTC) and Project Special Conditions.
• Manage post-award activities, including following up on orders and negotiating necessary revisions or amendments.
• Review technical documentation within Purchase Requisitions to ensure alignment with commercial goals.
• Maintain and organize all contractual documentation and archives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with a strong emphasis on MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
