About the Company

Pacific Fusion was founded in 2023 with the mission to power the world with abundant, affordable, clean energy. We are rapidly designing and building a pulser-driven inertial fusion system to achieve net facility gain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall procurement process including RFPs, RFQs, purchase order management, and invoice reconciliation
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure compliance and identify improvements
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to identify suppliers meeting design requirements
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans
• Prepare reports to track KPIs, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives
• Participate in continuous improvement of procurement systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, material planning, or supply chain
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management
• Experience with supplier negotiations, contract management, and risk mitigation
• Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate in an evolving startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience reviewing terms and conditions and master schedule agreements
• Experience with Coupa
• Experience in a startup environment
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, fusion, or energy industries
