Senior Buyer

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a national and international supplier base, building stable, long-term relationships.
• Conduct commercial negotiations to secure optimal purchasing conditions with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Manage procurement for industrial plants, piping systems, electrification, automation, and dedicated components.
• Lead complex negotiations for turnkey plants, including installation, commissioning, and testing services.
• Monitor purchase orders and deliveries to ensure material availability and production continuity.
• Coordinate with Technical Departments and Project Managers to ensure technical and economic alignment of supplies.
• Perform market analysis and manage project budgets, including variance analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Technical High school Diploma.
• Relevant professional experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in engineer-to-order or manufacturing environments.
• Experience within the industrial, tissue, or paper and board sectors.
