Senior Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between client end-users, programmers, and test analysts to ensure optimal system performance.
• Analyze business requests and formulate automated system scopes, objectives, and requirements.
• Develop complex business specifications, logical flowcharts, and technical documentation including manuals and file layouts.
• Design system screens and database structures in coordination with programming teams.
• Conduct testing, planning, and validation to ensure successful system implementation and resolve functional issues.
• Support project planning efforts and track application incidents to ensure successful conclusions for clients.
• Maintain and review application standards, including payment card industry and security compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience working directly with end-users to identify and meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of scripting and data structures.
• Experience within the bankcard or payments industry.
• Working towards a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and flowcharting tools such as Visio or UML.
