Senior Business Project Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead business transformation and analysis activities for a multi-year student transformation project to modernize business processes.
• Conduct foundational analysis to identify root causes, data silos, and process bottlenecks to produce decision-ready problem statements.
• Drive current-state assessments and future-state design, ensuring alignment with strategic organizational goals and value realization.
• Develop business requirements, decision frameworks, and persona-driven artifacts such as journey maps to inform process re-design.
• Facilitate high-stakes discovery workshops and governance structures to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Manage the business scope and value definition for RFPs, including developing scoring mechanisms and evaluation criteria.
• Partner with Change Management and technical architects to ensure solutions meet business needs and support successful adoption.
• Oversee post-implementation benefit realization by monitoring success measures and reporting outcomes to leadership.
• Mentor and coach Business Analysts on best practices, techniques, and project-specific guidance.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in business analysis or project leadership.
• Minimum of 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in business process re-design and large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills within complex or matrixed environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional designations such as CBAP, PMP, or Change Management certifications.
• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Education Cloud, or Service Cloud Consultant).
• Experience with enterprise CRM platform strategy or implementing large-scale COTS solutions.
• Experience working in a higher education or public sector environment.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations for senior executive leadership.
