Senior Business Process Analyst, Finance Automation

Responsibilities

• Identify business processes best suited for simplification, optimization, and automation in collaboration with software engineers.
• Perform structured assessments of business processes to determine automation fit and forecast ROI.
• Create process design documents and partner with RPA/Intelligent Automation teams to transform designs into functional automations.
• Define business outcomes and metrics to track forecasted and actual ROI.
• Work with finance stakeholders to understand business value streams and desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with Enterprise IT, Internal Auditing, and Trust and Compliance teams to ensure safe and efficient deployment of automations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business process improvement and process automation.
• Proven experience in finance processes, systems analysis, and process mining.
• Knowledge of intelligent automation technologies.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, finance, business operations, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working in highly iterative development environments using Lean and Agile frameworks.
• Proficiency in value stream mapping and documenting complex processes.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical background in systems analysis and complex systems integration.
• Prior experience with intelligent automation tools that delivered measurable business improvements.
• Deep understanding of Lean principles, including Kanban, Six Sigma, and optimizing flow.
• Experience managing stakeholders and providing strategic insight into finance organization improvements.
• A portfolio of successful high-visibility projects involving complex requirements documentation.
