Senior Business Optimization and Analytics Advisor

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to directors and VPs, translating complex business problems into structured analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations.
• Identify growth levers and optimization opportunities across sales, marketing, subscription performance, and customer journey.
• Design and execute advanced analytics, including behavioral segmentation, attribution modeling, cohort analysis, and predictive analytics.
• Contribute to the analytics roadmap by defining KPIs, dashboards, and improving data infrastructure and quality standards.
• Coach business teams on data interpretation to foster a data-driven organizational culture.
• Present findings and strategic insights to executive leadership, adapting communication styles for different audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven business optimization.
• Proven experience influencing managers and stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation in Lakehouse/Warehouse environments.
• Mastery of Databricks and proficiency in Power BI for data visualization.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R applied to statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
• Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce, retail, SaaS, subscription models, or multi-country marketplaces.
• Advanced degree (Master's) in a quantitative field.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and automated analytics.
