Responsibilities

• Edit high-profile scoops, analysis, and stories
• Take a leadership role in the editing and production of business and finance briefings
• Plan and coordinate coverage with colleagues and freelancers across multiple time zones
• Collaborate closely with the editing team and other verticals across the global newsroom
• Strategize story distribution and audience engagement across social media and key platforms

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant journalism experience
• Experience in newsroom management, leadership, or editing
• Proven experience editing business and finance stories
• Ability to convey authority, insight, and nuance in financial reporting
• Fluidity in writing and comfort editing writers with unique voices
• Strategic approach to identifying story angles across different geographies
