Senior Business Lending Advisor

Responsibilities

• Partner with Relationship Managers and external Centers of Influence to acquire, grow, and retain business banking relationships.
• Demonstrate expertise in credit analysis and underwriting for complex business clients, including assessment of financial statements, cash flow, and collateral.
• Generate new business from existing or independently sourced client relationships.
• Manage the end-to-end lending lifecycle, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with quality standards.
• Provide timely reporting to management regarding lead generation, new transactions, and market conditions.
• Select and develop referral sources and participate in industry trade shows or sales events.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Business Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, or financial services with a focus on client acquisition and credit solutions.
• Proven ability to build and manage a robust pipeline through internal referrals and external prospecting.
• Experience conducting consultative client conversations to deliver tailored secured lending solutions.
• Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment, partnering across underwriting, operations, and product teams.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to present complex financial concepts clearly.
