Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee scalable end-to-end data pipelines across fragmented source systems
• Design and implement robust ETL/ELT frameworks and modern lakehouse architectures
• Build and maintain enterprise-grade data platforms, including warehousing and semantic models
• Deliver high-quality analytics, dashboards, and self-service reporting using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
• Enable advanced analytics and automation using Python and SQL
• Partner with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Technology teams to translate business priorities into data solutions
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls
• Establish governance, standards, and best practices for data quality and security

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the modern data stack, data modelling, and warehousing
• Proven experience architecting complex enterprise data pipelines
• Deep expertise in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and Python
• Experience with modern cloud data architecture (lakehouse and medallion architectures)
• Strong business analysis skills with ability to interpret financial and operational datasets
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP platforms such as Workday, Dynamics, Maconomy, or SAP
• Understanding of Azure cloud services and ecosystem architecture
• Experience implementing data governance and master data management
• Relevant cloud or data platform certifications
