Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact business analysis to convert data into actionable descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive insights
• Deliver executive-level insight packs and performance commentary highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Identify trends and anomalies to quantify business impact and guide stakeholder actions
• Translate business needs into clear reporting requirements, including URS and KPA definitions
• Validate dashboards and reports for accuracy, usability, and alignment with agreed definitions
• Monitor business performance through KPAs, variances, and exception reporting
• Ensure data credibility through reconciliation to source systems and strong documentation
• Promote compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements such as POPIA

Requirements

• MCSA Database Development and MCSA BI Reporting certifications, or a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Administration
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst or related position
• Proficiency in programming for data analysis using Qlik, Excel, SQL, and Alteryx
• Proven track record of delivering insights that drive leadership decision-making
• Strong experience with KPA governance and performance reporting
• Experience handling and analyzing large datasets
• Ability to document complex business requirements for BI solutions
