Senior Business Insights Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve core business scorecards, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses for subscriber growth, revenue, and retention
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical plans and actionable recommendations
• Build deep expertise in billing and subscription ecosystems, including churn, renewals, and plan migration
• Partner with Growth, Product, Content, and Finance teams to identify operational and product levers for revenue retention
• Improve data quality and trustworthiness by partnering with analytics and data engineering teams
• Build executive-ready materials that connect data to strategic narratives

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in business insights, analytics, or strategy analytics
• Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large-scale behavioral or subscription data
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Mode, Omni, Tableau, or Looker
• Strong analytical fundamentals in cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and segmentation
• Excellent spreadsheet skills in Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in subscription, streaming, or media industries
• Proficiency in Python or R for statistical workflows
• Familiarity with modern data platforms like Snowflake, dbt, or Segment
• Deep understanding of subscription metrics like LTV, CAC, and churn
