About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue high-impact partnership opportunities aligned with company priorities
  • Build and actively manage a pipeline of prospective partners within the automotive ecosystem and other strategic areas
  • Proactively initiate and lead external conversations with prospective partners
  • Own the progression of partnerships from initial outreach through mid-to-late stage discussions
  • Partner with senior leadership to support final negotiation and closing
  • Synthesize partner conversations and market signals into clear insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business development or partnerships in a tech-forward environment
  • Experience developing partnerships involving software, platform, or product integrations (B2C, B2B2C)
  • Proven ability to source and progress partnerships in ambiguous environments
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into concrete actions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience
  • Permanent US work authorization
  • Ability to travel quarterly for meetings and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive, mobility, mapping, or connected device ecosystems
  • Experience driving partnership opportunities from sourcing through launch
  • Experience in high-growth technology environments
  • Personal passion for outdoor recreation and adventure
