Senior Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, secure, and execute a robust pipeline of enterprise platform partnerships in EMEA to drive revenue and volume growth.
• Act as a strategic bridge between the market and the Product & Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
• Lead market analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the online platform vertical.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Implementation teams to launch complex partnerships.
• Represent Wise and Wise Platform at industry events and conferences as a spokesperson for the enterprise vertical.
• Support the digital platforms vertical strategy both within the EMEA region and on a global scale.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in payments, with a specific focus on international payments for major enterprise platforms in EMEA.
• Proven track record of developing and executing business strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to independently secure optimal commercial terms.
• Experience or deep interest in sectors such as spend management, travel, ecommerce, workforce platforms, or marketplaces.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to establishing sales presence and product-market fit in new sectors.
