Senior Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive near term and long term growth for Muon Space in DoD
• Lead customer engagement, pipeline development and capture efforts
• Provide thought leadership in the development and synthesis of a cohesive and executable strategy for target organizations
• Identify new opportunities and lead capture throughout pipeline stages
• Create, maintain and implement customer engagement plans
• Lead proposals and RFI responses, including win themes and technical solution development
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, and finance departments on opportunities
• Provide customer input into the product technology roadmap

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in aerospace/defense
• 5+ years in Business Development
• Experience with USG captures and leading proposals
• Demonstrated success capturing space business within the DoW
• Ability to travel up to 35% of time
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field
• Experience delivering to DoW/IC
• Mission knowledge in Space Based Environmental Monitoring
• Previous Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility
• Experience with remote sensing satellite development or mission operations
• Understanding of systems engineering processes and architectures
