About the role
Responsibilities
- Acquire new customers for AMR/service robots through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing
- Set BD direction and strategy based on AMR market understanding to drive wins and reference deployments
- Manage pilot/PoC processes and drive full rollout execution
- Expand existing accounts through additional deployments and operational scaling
- Strengthen existing partner relationships and build new partnerships
- Optimize business models, including sales and pricing strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams
- Design, monitor, and report on KPIs and long-term roadmaps
- Manage and visualize sales pipelines
Requirements
- 5+ years of BD experience in robotics, tech, IT, or SaaS
- 2+ years of experience working in a global company environment
- Fluency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Enterprise sales and strong negotiation experience
- Partner or channel collaboration experience
- Experience driving PoCs and translating field requirements into internal execution
- Experience in hardware and software integrated businesses
- People management experience including hiring and coaching
