Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Gather and document detailed business needs, translating them into high-quality BRDs, FRDs, and User Stories
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose automation enhancements using ServiceNow and JIRA
• Conduct comprehensive AS-IS vs. TO-BE gap analyses to optimize business processes
• Ensure all IT systems meet stringent banking regulations, including Basel Committee standards, IFRS 9, and AML/KYC
• Utilize Power BI and Tableau to analyze large datasets for executive decision-making
• Define test scenarios and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users
• Act as the primary point of contact between Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors for HR platforms, Risk engines, and Document Management Systems

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Banking or Financial Services sector
• Strong expertise in non-core systems such as ECM, CRM, and HR platforms
• Proficiency in ServiceNow, JIRA, Power BI, and Tableau
• Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, and database concepts
• Expert-level knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile Business Analyst
• Familiarity with large-scale enterprise environments and audit-readiness protocols
