Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between university departments and technical teams to manage relationships and project alignment.
• Elicit detailed requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis, and workflow analysis.
• Develop functional requirements, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Use Cases, User Stories, and interface designs.
• Plan, organize, and monitor system projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, developing business case studies that identify costs and project plans.
• Coordinate effective testing to evaluate system performance, identify bugs, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Configure and implement purchased enterprise software, including designing security roles and managing workflows.
• Provide training and ongoing support to users to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent relevant experience may be considered).
• 5 years of experience in systems analysis, implementation, or support.
• 5 years of project management experience.
• 5 years of experience with Title IV aid programs.
• 5 years of experience with databases, statistical software, or other high-level computer skills.
• Must be in good standing with the US Department of Education (no loans in default).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with Anthology Student systems.
