Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Trade Lifecycle Processing, including validation, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation
• Support Market and Non-Market Claims processing across post-trade and operational workflows
• Analyze trade date–driven processing and its impact on downstream settlement and claims systems
• Identify, document, and analyze system and process gaps for new business or regulatory requirements
• Prepare high-quality Business Specification Documents (BSD), functional specifications, and process flow diagrams
• Use SQL to validate business scenarios, reconcile data, and perform root-cause analysis
• Support Agile delivery through backlog grooming, sprint planning, and breaking down requirements into user stories
• Collaborate with Product Owners, IT Developers, and QA teams to ensure effective execution of business change

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise-scale systems
• Deep domain expertise in Claims and Capital Markets, specifically Trade Lifecycle Processing
• Strong hands-on SQL skills for data analysis and reconciliation
• Proven experience preparing BSDs, functional specifications, and system flow diagrams
• Practical exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and defect triage
• Experience in regulated, high-volume financial services environments
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence for requirements and delivery tracking
