Senior Business Analyst, Investment Risk

Responsibilities

• Gather and document functional and technical requirements by working with business users, portfolio managers, and data engineering teams
• Translate performance attribution and investment data concepts into clear business and system specifications
• Collaborate on solution design to ensure alignment with performance, benchmark, and attribution methodologies
• Support data validation, UAT, and production releases by defining test cases and verifying results
• Track and manage changes, dependencies, and issues across performance attribution workflows
• Prepare process documentation, data flow diagrams, and business rules for ongoing enhancements

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Financial Data Projects
• Strong knowledge of Performance Attribution, Benchmarks, Portfolio Analytics, or Fund Reporting
• Hands-on experience in SQL and comfort working with large data sets
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to FactSet, Bloomberg, or similar attribution platforms
• Familiarity with Data Engineering workflows such as Redshift, Databricks, Autosys, or ETL tools
• Understanding of cloud migration and data transformation initiatives
