Senior Business Analyst (Fraud)

Responsibilities

• Reduce Fraud Loss Rate by identifying key drivers through deep-dive SQL analysis and implementing real-time mitigation rules.
• Optimize False Positive Ratios by refining decision engines and model thresholds.
• Deploy major anti-fraud initiatives such as identity verification upgrades or behavioral biometrics.
• Establish and lead a high-performance Fraud Analytics Pod, developing technical mastery in SQL, Python, and modeling.
• Build a real-time fraud reporting ecosystem to provide executive-level visibility into emerging trends.
• Act as a strategic link between data forensics and executive decision-making.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in high-impact analytical roles (Credit Risk or Strategic Consulting experience is essential).
• Minimum of 2 years in data-heavy roles with a history of deconstructing losses through quantitative analysis.
• Mastery of SQL, including writing complex queries from scratch.
• Proven ability to make decisive credit policy decisions that balance growth with risk.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical fraud controls to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive under pressure during active fraud attacks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Fraud prevention.
• Experience with Python and machine learning features for fraud detection.
