Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support senior management and business stakeholders in producing analysis and reporting to drive business accountability
• Review, scrub, and interpret data to analyze results and trends
• Build, update, and enhance dashboards and ongoing reports
• Develop and implement report/dashboard improvements to optimize efficiency and data quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases
• Work with stakeholders to reconcile data and investigate incongruencies
• Identify and execute new process improvement opportunities
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables)
• Intermediate/advanced skills in Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance industry knowledge or background
• Experience with Alteryx for data transformation
• Experience with SQL or Snowflake for data querying
• Accounting, Finance, or a relevant professional designation
