Senior Build Quality Engineer

Antares is on a mission to make clean energy abundant from Earth to the Asteroid Belt by building mass-producible, inherently safe, deployable microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality processes, including production nonconformance management and calibrated hardware procedures
• Drive quality assurance within the supply chain through supplier qualification and performance monitoring
• Lead root-cause investigations related to manufacturing, production, and testing issues
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to mitigate quality risks
• Ensure adherence to nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Document quality procedures, processes, and findings for stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Engineering or related discipline)
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Manufacturing, Test, Reliability, or Quality Engineering)
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary to support critical milestones
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the nuclear industry or other highly regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles and industry-specific standards
• Proven experience in managing production nonconformances and supplier qualification
• Expertise in root-cause analysis and first-principle thinking
