Senior Bring-Up and Characterisation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand silicon device and system architecture to document characterisation requirements
• Create product-specific characterisation plans
• Liaise with engineering teams to drive improvements in available characterisation tests
• Create and maintain automated systems for characterisation testing and data analysis
• Execute manual characterisation tests when automation is not appropriate
• Report regularly on progress and produce comprehensive characterisation reports

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering technical output
• Solid experience in silicon digital device design characterisation
• Knowledge of silicon process technology and its impact on device performance
• Knowledge of high-performance processor and SoC systems
• Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, or DDR)
• Proficiency in measurement automation and data analysis
• Ability to code or script using Python or JMP
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PCBA and system-level technologies
• Background knowledge of ATE systems and capabilities
