Responsibilities

• Own and develop Focused Energy’s visual identity across all channels
• Lead conceptual design for major initiatives including fundraising, partnerships, and events
• Create presentations, reports, infographics, diagrams, and digital/print assets
• Translate complex technical, political, and financial topics into compelling visuals
• Structure design workflows including briefs, timelines, feedback loops, and QA
• Partner with internal teams, leadership, agencies, and vendors
• Support conferences, exhibitions, and trade fairs
• Mentor and upskill the team’s design maturity and standards

Requirements

• Several years’ experience in Brand, Visual, Communication, or Marketing Design
• Portfolio demonstrating visual identity work, brand systems, and executive presentations
• High proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Aptitude for visually structuring complex, technical topics
• Experience collaborating with senior, international stakeholders
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• German language proficiency
• Experience in investor or financial communications
• Experience in government, policy, or public affairs communication
• Background in industrial, infrastructure, or energy sectors
• Experience with deep-tech or science-driven organizations
