Senior Bombers Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the B-1B and B-52 Test Programs at Edwards AFB, managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Manage employees and first-level managers across multiple engineering disciplines
• Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, and technical strategies
• Acquire resources for department activities and provide technical management of suppliers
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners
• Provide oversight and approval for technical approaches, products, and processes

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in an engineering technical lead or management role
• 8+ years of experience working across functional groups on a military aircraft program
• Expertise in systems engineering, configuration management, and quality management functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• 5+ years of experience in flight test engineering or supporting complex aerospace programs
• 5+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in test planning and data analysis
• Specific experience with B-1B and B-52 engineering, design, or repair
• Experience applying project management principles including scheduling, risk, and cost control
• Proven ability to mentor and develop engineering personnel
