Senior BMC Helix Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of BMC Helix IT Asset Management and Discovery modules
• Configure and customize the BMC Helix platform to align with client requirements
• Conduct assessments and workshops to gather business and technical requirements
• Develop integration strategies to connect BMC Helix with other ITSM and enterprise systems
• Provide expert guidance on IT asset lifecycle management and discovery processes
• Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and optimize performance of BMC Helix solutions
• Deliver training sessions and documentation to client teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Asset Management and Discovery implementation
• Hands-on expertise in BMC Helix IT Asset Management and Discovery modules
• Ability to build, deploy, and configure containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman)
• Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT asset management best practices
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/7)
• Knowledge of network discovery protocols (SNMP, SSH, WMI, PowerShell, APIs)
• Ability to work onsite in Oman

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software license compliance and software asset management
• Experience with customer engagement during PoC and implementation phases
• BMC Helix certifications
• GCC/MENA region experience
