Senior BIW Costing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements
• Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters
• Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost
• Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery
• Generate technical insights reports, costing calculations, and DtC/VAVE ideas

Requirements

• More than 5 years experience in BIW and technologies like stamping, welding, casting, forging, painting, or machining
• Experience in Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing, or Value Engineering
• Experience with BOM cost calculation and DtC/VAVE from supply chain, material, and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of stamping and forging technology manufacturing and costing
• Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical, industrial engineering, electronics, or a related area
• Proficiency in written and oral English

Preferred Qualifications

• Overseas study experience is a plus
