Senior BIM Technician - Bridges

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed bridge and structural drawings for Canadian projects, including LRT components and retaining walls
• Manage production of work and ensure compliance with WSP CAD/BIM standards
• Lead project setup by agreeing on drawing strategies, numbering, and production methods with Project Engineers
• Coordinate engineering services to ensure timely receipt of inputs and full review of outputs
• Develop and maintain CAD/BIM templates, library items, and Revit families
• Review engineering sketches and design details to identify unbuildable or conflicting information
• Guide and mentor team members, documenting skill development in Revit, SofiSTIK, Microstation, and Civil 3D
• Maintain project documentation, including QA, document control, and archiving guidelines

Requirements

• Diploma in CAD
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Revit, SofiSTIK, Microstation, and Civil 3D
• Strong knowledge of bridge design principles
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
