Senior BIM Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes on projects
• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and execution plans
• Ensure all BIM models and shop drawings comply with company, client, and project-specific requirements
• Lead the integration of BIM processes into project delivery and digital engineering strategies
• Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related coordination among architects, engineers, and contractors
• Facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration to resolve BIM-related issues and ensure seamless model integration
• Conduct regular quality control checks, model audits, clash detection, and data validation
• Provide guidance, training, and technical support to project teams on BIM tools and best practices
• Manage BIM software tools, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative digital solutions to enhance project delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience
• Extensive experience with BIM software including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Strong working experience in BIM methodologies and ISO 19650 standards
• Strong experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Deep understanding of construction processes, digital workflows, and shop drawing requirements
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
