Senior Billing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete billing cycle, including researching and resolving inconsistencies, errors, and lender requirements.
• Analyze billing documents and data for accuracy, creating customized funding invoices and ensuring timely invoicing.
• Handle billing-related support cases, including tax issues, lender fees, and invoice adjustments.
• Manage card and ACH chargebacks end-to-end, from investigation to outcome booking.
• Oversee cancellations and early terminations, validating eligibility and coordinating billing adjustments.
• Support Enterprise billing by reviewing complex contracts and validating pricing and terms.
• Perform billing audits and reconciliations to identify root causes of discrepancies.
• Maintain SOX-compliant documentation and audit trails for all billing changes, refunds, and credits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Order Management to resolve issues.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a billing or billing-related role.
• Expertise in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work US business hours (9 AM to 6 PM).
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Zuora.
• Expertise in Salesforce.com.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
