Senior Bid Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate bid strategy sessions, kick-off meetings, workshops, and senior review panels
• Interpret client requirements and translate them into winning strategies and compliant responses
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior bid managers and writers within the team
• Oversee the production of compelling, well-structured responses that differentiate the offering
• Work closely with directors, subject matter experts, and delivery teams to define win themes and value propositions
• Manage multiple complex bids simultaneously, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality
• Engage with live projects to gather insight and evidence for persuasive case studies and success stories

Requirements

• Extensive experience in bid management within construction, engineering, or major infrastructure projects
• Exceptional writing skills and ability to craft compelling, client-focused submissions
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end bid processes for high-value or complex projects
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive cross-functional collaboration
• Strategic thinking skills to articulate clear win themes and value propositions
• Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., English, marketing, engineering, or construction) or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or formal bid management training (e.g., APMP Practitioner or higher)
