Senior BI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI
• Build and optimize semantic models, datasets, and data models
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable reporting solutions
• Develop reusable KPIs, measures, and analytical frameworks using DAX
• Implement report security, governance, and access controls
• Leverage Microsoft Fabric capabilities to support enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives
• Support report deployment, enhancements, and production support activities

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Analytics
• Strong hands-on experience in Power BI development and dashboard creation
• Advanced expertise in DAX, data modeling, and Power Query (M Language)
• Proven experience migrating reports from legacy BI platforms to Power BI
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Fabric Warehouses)
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Fabric IQ and AI-powered analytics capabilities
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric planning, governance, and architecture
• Familiarity with Copilot-enabled analytics experiences
• Relevant Microsoft Fabric and Power BI certifications
